This is an excellent fishshop. The food is all ways first class, the chips are done in there own batter. They taste excellent. When we are in the area we would not miss the opportunity to indulge. Definitely give it a try.

A nice friendly welcome, Chicken tikka, battered chips, salad in a tray. Perfectly cooked, the spices in the chicken tikka is divine, fresh salad, battered chips are to die for, will be visiting this shop again. Well done to new owners, keep up the same standards please.

This chippy got highly recommended through my parents. I wasn't hesitant at first to do the 10 minutes drive, passing several other chip shops on the way just to try this place for the first time. But boy oh boy! It's the only place I can ever go back to. The bench mark has been set and the gold medal is all but assumed. The size of the large meat and chips was unquestionably too much, but that's why I love it! I'm an average guy (not too big nor little at about 15 stone) and this put me through my paces. I've done a few eating challenges and this could be one of them! ... Okay maybe not quite that extreme but it's not far off. Dare you to tackle two. The quality is fantastic. Not greasy, crisp and exceptional clean. Not something you normally find in one of these establishments. Finally, the last part of the holy trinity of fine dining, the price. The price is worth every penny, and I don't mean that in an expensive way, as it's easily on par with the local competitors. Try it, you won't be disappointed.
